Welcome to Hardscratch, Kentucky. We are a wide spot on Highway 55 between Columbia and Lake Cumberland. On the map you will find us as Glensfork, but if you ask a local resident, they'll tell you it's been called "Hardscratch" since the 1880's.
The Store
We are a full service, old-time, country store. We offer a full menu with daily plate lunches. Wednesday is always bean day. If you order from the menu be sure to try our 1/4 and 1/2 pound burgers. We make them by hand from fresh ground beef. If you are really hungry, the Hardscratch Burger with fries is a man-sized meal.
Stuff Country Folks Need
In addition to food, we offer well stocked shelves with the "Stuff you Need". We have picnic supplies, daily necessities, automotive/tractor supplies, and hardware. We also sell fresh gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and "Off-road" Farm Diesel.

Hours
Our store and dining room are open from 5:00 A.M until 6:00 P.M. Monday - Friday. We are open from 5:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, and from 6:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Sundays.
